The chess servers (I don't know about other games) are unbearably slow, and I don't care what you think. I have an £40 broadband internet connection, get around 1MB/s on downloads, etc. Why is it that on every other Chess game, the game hangs and ends up not even registering my piece?
For further clarification, I moved my bishop to take an enemy's Knight - the piece moved, I saw it move, and it made the 'take' sound that you hear when a piece takes another piece. I was able to talk to my enemy, he/she was able to talk to me. On their side the clock had frozen but my piece hadn't registered. This game went on like this, the game hanging nearly EVERY move for about two minutes.
