You cant delete an account.  If you dont want to use it anymore, then dont login!

It must be possible to delete your account. 	
If this is not possible you are required to stay. 	
That is against the rules

You can delete you account if you have the original registration email still. If you don't then simply don't login to your account anymore. There is no rule that states you must log in to your account, nor do you have to continue using the website.
