I had same problem after last update java but only in opera i think newest java is bad i instaled older and its ok now. Try play in other browser or uninstall new java and install older version

from what i can infer, it is strictly a browser issue. .
Use firefox and if ur already using it u just need to clear the browser cache n cookies. .restart it. .

iVE BEEN with this game a couple of yrs and now in the last 1 ive not been able to get into curling its driving me nuts... do they want us to pay now is that why  ..????

Be sure to update your OS (meaning Windows Update), as well as regularly clean temp files in both java and internet, also scan for virus's, malware and so on. Possibly it can be anyone of those things but I recommend trying this. Remember virus's can hide anyplace.
