I cant get to play after updating the above version , the system keeps displaying " You must update etc " At a loss what to do to overcome this problem

There is currently a problem with Internet Explorer and Java. We are fixing this issue asap, until then you can play using another browser. Thank you for your patience.
try going into tools on your browser internet options, security tag,click on custom tag, scroll to find java and see if its enabled.
