After Team World Championships, I want organise Individual World Championships. 32 or 64 players. First stage groups, next play off (1/8 final, 1/4 final, etc.) - matches 8 ends. Thank you for organizing the tournaments Wegma. I appreciate the work you put in. May I suggest a revised format for future tourneys - similar to football (soccer for North Americans), with tiered groups and promotion and relegation? With groups of 8-10 players per tier playing a round robin, then promoting/relegating the top and bottom two players after each round, the competition would eventually be very even overall and would give people a relative ranking. I guess original seedings would have to be loosely based on point level with some manual adjustment. While I have the floor, I might also suggest making the games a MINIMUM of 6 ends, with the players of any one game able to agree on 8 or 10 if they wish. This may result in less matches going unplayed.

I organised two, maybe three, of these in 2010. The biggest issue was the 5-8 hour time difference when finding times to play.

Yeah, I need help for You :) thank you very much! Needed even sixteen players (minimum). I do not always have time to ask the players if they want to play in the championship , so I would be grateful for your help , it can ask those who have played in previous tournaments ? We aim at players yellow , blue, green and brown of course , but they generally declare themselves , and how they do not, they do not want to play :)
