Possible to have shot clock in regular snooker?
Don't know if whoever adds updates to this site will read this but if it would be possible to add a shot clock option where like the Best of 3 or 5 option you can have a shot clock say where 30 secs is the max.
Good idea. I imagine it wouldn't be too difficult to implement either.
Yup nice if you can clearly see it before you play the guy.
Yeah, show average shot time.

What do you think would be a good reasonable time, in regular snooker, 20 secs? (as average, say last 100 shots)
There is a funny thing about the people wanting a 20 second shot clock.
Most of the pro players use around 30 second average time per shot. And in some hard situation like snookers they use sometimes 2 minutes or even more.
Even Sullivan, these days, who is known to be the best and specially quick is around 24 second average per shot.
No one here plays something similar to a pro player. They surely think quicker than any player here.
So if they need that time to analyse situation It means that any player here
do needs more time to make the same right shot selection.
Why anyone needs more than 25 seconds a shot I'll never know.
I guess this hasn't been looked at which is a shame as someone already said it shouldn't be too hard to implement it. 30 seconds is more than enough time for someone to take a shot i'd prefer a 15 second shot clock but id be happy if there was an option of at least 30 seconds.
