As a workaround, you can use the Exception Site list feature to run the applications blocked by security settings. Adding the URL of the blocked application to the Exception Site list allows it to run with some warnings.

thank you for trying to help me, tried what you suggested, funny thing it will let me play the checkers game, but not any of the pool or snooker games, so I am connected, baffling, I know google will not support this app so have downloaded

what you need to do is close your browser then find your browsers profile and delete cert8.db and then reopen your browser and try again.

Do same thing in pool games.  copy URL and add in exception site list.
