Team Scandinavia (with players from Sweden -Norway -Denmark) challenge a NorthAmerican Team (players from USA-Canada).
All matches are 8 ends. If a match is tie after 8 ends, 1 normal extra end have to be played, just after the 8 normal ends have been played. 
IMPORTANT: Looser of the 8. end must have the hammer in extra end, so both player have to go in and out until the looser of 8. end get the hammer!

You stated in the first post that all matches will be ten ends.  I agreed to play ten end games.  I suggest giving the option of 8-10 or 6-10 ends.

To Make This tournament possible , I made an agreement with Whitecrj about 8 ends. Tought you discussed this topic before you accepted, some players obviosly dont want to play 10 ends.

I wasn't informed.  I know some don't want to play ten ends, but that's what I thought the matches were going to be.  

Personally I prefer 10 ends too, see my first post. If the players agree to play 10 ends, write here, please.

I'm not playing so probably not my place to say, but why don't you play 8 ends for your round robin & 10 ends for your play-off. Also if you set all games for 10 ends but agree to stop after 8, the system will automatically award the hammer correctly should a 9th end be necessary.

We dont play playoffs, its a team Challenge. Ty for tour comment.

curling widow: right on the money.  I played a tournament on here a while ago that only counted eight ends but I played ten anyway...as you said the hammer went to the right person in the extra end.

Good solution Widow and Aig - 8 ends is the tournament official result - extra end if needed. If players don't want to play remaining 2 ends for fun, then loser leaves first.

RULE for loosing connection:

If a match is abandoned due to the connection, the remaining ends are played:
1) with set-up, if it is an even number of ends or
2) without set-up if it is to an odd number of ends.
The game continue with the points from previous ends.

IMPORTANT: Players having to go out and restart the game if the hammer does not belong to the right to play in the first of the remaining ends.
The same applies to the possible extra end (end 11). Both players go out until the right player has the hammer.
