I can see why hardly anyone plays straight pool.  It's a waste of time.  Most of these players don't miss. Where's the fun in watching them run off 14 or 15 balls before you get a shot?  Then 9 ball is almost as bad.  Nothing but slop.  Hit 'em as hard as you can or just aim for the 9 ball every shot hoping it will go in. I like Blackball because of the 2 shot penalty on a foul.  Gotta be more careful on that game.
