Point system in backgammon
Hi guys!
We have a discussion on curling forum regarding of improvement of our point system.
Currently we have the following:
0 - 29 -Novice (gray); 30 - 79 – Amateur (light blue); 80 - 149 – Intermediate (green); 150 - 239 – Advanced (dark blue); 240 - 349 – Professional (yellow); 350 – 479 – Talent (orange); 480 – ∞  - Wizard (red)
Could you please advice the ranges in Backgammon?
Hi Ryope,
This was just a player's suggestion so far.
Kind regards,
John
Hi John!

From what to what?
0 - 199 - Novice (gray);
200 - 399– Amateur (light blue);
400 - 599– Intermediate (green);
600-  799– Advanced (dark blue);
800- 999– Professional (yellow);
1000– 1199– Talent (orange);
1200– ∞  - Wizard (red) BACKGAMMON.
unfortunately not. I am sorry.
If you are truly interested in improving the game (and the site) them make a game worth the same amount of points no matter who you play. Right now everyone sits there waiting for someone above them in points to play. Your current system ends up reducing play instead of encouraging play.
Here is another suggestion for the game. If people just leave because they are behind it should be a gammon if they don't have a man out or a backgammon if they are still in the back quarter.
