It would be nice if when a player leaves during your turn you could complete your break instead of game finishing immediately

I agree. It does give your opponent the option to stay or not when they attempt to leave but that makes little difference and people leave anyway.

Perhaps the progam could be configured that you can only leave when its your shot

I agree. Sometimes possible personal best break gone to nothing if your opp leaves
