Informant Chess
Picture this: You've just logged in, ready to conquer the chess world, one square at a time. Your mouse hovers over the e4 square, and you click. The pawn leaps forward with the enthusiasm of a puppy chasing a ball, and the game is on! But wait, what's this? Your opponent responds with a move so bizarre, it's clear they're playing 4D chess while you're stuck in 2D.
As the game progresses, you'll notice that the pieces in Informant Chess have personalities of their own. But be warned: the pawns have unionized, and if you don't treat them well, they might just stage a walkout mid-game. They will mutate into muttering rooks, gossipy bishops or the daredevil knights on the penultimate row!
For those who prefer the company of fellow humans, the multiplayer mode is where friendships are forged and friendly rivalries are born. Chat with your opponent, exchange your best chess puns (Why did the chess player get arrested? Because he was a known pawn broker!), and maybe learn a thing or two along the way.
So, whether you're a seasoned chess aficionado or someone who thought a Sicilian Defense was a type of pizza, "FlyOrDie Informant Chess" is the place for you. It's a game where strategy meets silliness, and everyone's a winner. Well, not literally. There will be losers. But they'll lose with a smile!
In conclusion, "FlyOrDie Informant Chess" is more than just a game; it's an experience. It's where you can be a grandmaster or a grand jester. So, grab your digital pieces, polish your best opening gambit, and dive into the most entertaining chess game you'll ever play. Checkmate has never been so cheeky!
Seriously
"Chess Informant Chess" is different from the classic chess in one detail only. Namely, white pawn that reaches the 7th line can remain PAWN, but it can be promoted into one of the following pieces: ROOK, BISHOP or KNIGHT. The same is valid for a black pawn that reaches the 2nd line.
The analyses which have been made in the previous period showed that there would not be essential changes in openings and combinations, however the game would differ very much from the actual chess in the ending.
For example, in classic chess, all the endings where one side has a king and a pawn, while the other side has only the king become finally a draw if the weaker side has opposition. It would not be the case with "Chess Informant Chess". The side which has one pawn more would be in a winning position, except if it is the question of "b" or "g" pawn where the game would end as a draw, which means that only in this case the final result would be identical with the classic chess.
The same case is with other endings (bishop-knight, rook or queen), the side which has one pawn more would practically have a decisive advantage. By that a number of the decided games would be much bigger in the "Chess Informant Chess" than in the classic chess.
Chess Informant Chess is especially convenient for playing on the Internet, as it is very easy to make a promotion.
FAQ
What is exactly Chess Informant Chess?
Chess Informant Chess is a version of chess in which the pawn is much stronger compared to the classic chess. Classic chess derived from "Shatranj" by making two pieces (bishop and queen) stronger. According to this, Chess Informant Chess could be a further natural process of further development of the game.
Who has invented it?
It has been invented by an expert from the Chess Informant team.
Why was inventing necessary?
It was necessary partly from the same reason that classic chess had been formed from the "Shatranj". Secondly, as the firm Chess informant (which succeeded the Centre for the Chess Promotion) has been carefully following the events in chess for over 30 years, we have noticed that the chess game was developing more in quantity than in quality. Also, we think this could be useful for the chess organization. For example, you have in athletics the sprint 100m and hurdles 110 existing side by side.
What can the Chess World expect from Chess Informant Chess?
Theoretically in chess there is a limited number of games. In practice, however, a great number of positions has never been played, as there is no logical way to reach them. Introducing Chess Informant Chess such positions could be reached easily, so many new positions could be played on the chessboard. That is the reason we think that by parallel development of the classic chess and the Chess Informant Chess, the chess game would be enriched.
