The best strategy is just to have fun.If you get too much into the "strategy" part of it, you are going to end up miserable and whining and complaining on the Forums about cheaters, "this isn't FAIR" and such. Or you will get demerits or bans and be whining on here that noone respects you and you are INNOCENT I TELL YA.

Just have fun and try not to take it all too seriously. :) THAT is my advice.

it varies from game to game and the people playing them. some people would say that chess for example is and others would say that pool is but personally i would say that snooker requires the most skill and tactical play.

iam new too i like checkers alot maybe you can give that a try.
