In a set number of ends points game (not skins), there should be an option to play an extra end if you're tied. You're opponent doesn't have to accept and it would end in a draw. But as of now if you want to settle it with an extra end you either have to play an open-ended game or start a new 1-end game where you might lose hammer if you lost that end or blanked it.

Yes that makes sense. I've always wish there was an extra end option as well. In skins, it goes to a draw-to-the-button, but there should still be an option for the extra end if you want. The draw-to-the-button should also be made mandatory for tied games in the regular format for the sake of breaking ties, but without affecting the player's rating.
