Mustrum 2.1.2 Breaks

Does anyone know if Mustrum breaks are intentionally put into the program by the author? Because I find it hard to believe that someone can be so inept as to have over 10 versions of the same program and yet never fix the programming errors. And it seems like each version has different breaks too...
