When I was a very young kid in the middle 1970s, I saw on the television the opening or ending credits (don't know which) of the movie From Russian With Love where the song (From Russia With Love) played, if I remember correctly. That was my first encounter with James Bond. Not that much off-topic, because tanks are military, and James Bond is military.

I grew up watching his movies, particularly bond, the rock and even highlander. As a fellow Scottish man i can say it's very sad to see him go. poor guy suffered from Dementia for a while before passing..truly sad to see he's gone. RIP, best bond ever.
