I was playing in last end. I was up 1 with last rock. He had rock in house and guard. I had guard. 4th shot of end. I tried to peel MY guard. I shot my guard into his by accident and BOTH our guards went out of play and BOTH our guards were replaced. I'm pretty sure my guard should not be replaced since I was throwing. I obviously know his should. It almost cost me the game. Does anyone know if I am incorrect in my thinking and my guard is replaced as well? Thanks for your time.

Because you knocked one of his rocks out of the free guard zone within the 5 rock rule, your shot is completely disqualified and therefore everything is put back as it was before your shot was thrown. The system performed correctly according to the current curling rules
