If tanx is to progress and become THE GAME TO PLAY,then something has to be done to help recruit,SHOW HOW-not TELL HOW-to fire and manuever tanxs....I've been here long enough to see the bitter end in sight lol the number of players hasn't increased,the number of newbies is the same as the number of players who leave,because of 1 reason or another.BORED,BURNT-OUT,LESS FREE TIME,MORE IMPORTANT ENGAGEMENT ,ETC,ETC,ETC.for whatever reason,the bottom line is the numbers aren't increasing........ you all know how much time and effort you;ve had to put in ,to sharpen and hone yours skills and dexterity to be where you are now..........A TALENTED VETERAN TANX PLAYER........but think back to that 1st day ,how the hell do you do this godd damit,right........yeah you know what i'm talking about....now newbies have even less of a chance to familiarize themselves with the game...I try to help anyone who asks for help,as do other tanxers,but once their on their own,in an op........their world and ideas of tanx are blown to smitherines,along with any ideas and thoughts of WANTING TO PLAY,OR TAKING THE TIME TO GET BETTER........SO THIS GAME HAS GOT TO BE MORE NEWBIE FRIENDLY OR IT WILL BE GONE,WHEN WERE GONE.................IDEAS MY FRIENDS-TO PRESERVE AND BETTER A GAME THAT GETS YOU ...J.U.I.C.E.D.......???? But if fod really wants to grab our attention...get more bulked on tanx. Like more fields (weather conditions in an op :D), weapons, bigger screen, maybe some music, better rating system, and maybe...a noobie tutorial room LMAO!! LIKE I'LL EVER SEE THAT :)

i find it refreshing to read you guys are intrested in getting more people to come and play tanx and care about helping new players to enjoy the game,one way i think you could help in this matter is making sure they are not lambs to the slaughter as if witnessed many time if a player is new please dont use them as a quick way to gain points but instead help then learn to play the game better.You mentioned a noob room for them well that you can do your self if you find somone is new and in need of teaching theres nothing stopping you making a private room with them and showing them the ropes this ive done my self as well as GHOST RIDER MP ;) have fun guys and remeber we where all NooB's at one time

correct, privates can now communicate and the logic for this is simple, we can't offer new visitors to Tanx any assistance if they can't ask for any. this is the primary reason for re-enabling the chat for privates. there was a time not that long ago...users would take advantage of private names to harass others with out fear of moderation actions against them, this time it is different... moderation actions can....and will be enforced against users who believe they are anonymous while using a private name. I won't get into the tecnical details regarding this but it is safe to say privates are no longer anonymous to FlyOrDie admin. or game moderators. so... that being said... lets focus on helping the new visitors with Tanx in an effort to get new "regular" players to battle against...in the best traditions of true war gaming. thanks in advance to all who feel the same way we on the moderation team feel.. as well as many of the old timers here at Tanx. well i keep seeing players with over 500 points (not giving any names...:p) slaughtering newbies for points..i go into that op and kill em all :) and if them newbies keep getting attacked just have teh subed people set up password rooms for people under 100 points or so.

Talking privates...huh...there are just SO MANY THINGS I could say here....lol (pauses while waiting for the laughter to subside and for his hands to stop shaking)! Helping newbies/privates is a drag at times but its the right thing to do. Mu first response is "Read the DIRECTIONS knucklehead!" Just like cucci or someone said to me my first time...guess what? That's what I did and then my questions were strategic - which is the fun part. NERO - u been here longer than GHOST?!? and he's still BETTER than you?!??!?!?! HOLY COW!! THAT is - and I can say this because GHOST and I have been friends for a LONG time in here - THAT is TERRIBLE! LOL! YOU STINK!
