Is this rule forgotten? On most Ladders and Leagues, your Ladder name must exactly match the username you use on the gaming site, including spaces, underscores, and other keyboard characters. For example, if your username on the gaming site is member123, then your Ladder name must be member123.

leagues are encouraged to follow this rule. Some lgs will allow a player to use a alternate name but usually only if they are having issues logging in on there lg name. this option would be up to the admin of the lg to decide Here are the main myleague rules

on another note for instance. my flyordie nic is aka Ρiиoċċħiö but i am in a lg using aka pinocchio, because sometimes when registering into a lg it wont allow you to use especial characters in your name when you sign up,so you are forced to change it from fancy to normal to register :) this is allowed
