I for one am not a hunter .. but i'm not against it.

hunting would be considered a sport to some, a bad thing to do to few, and a good thing for others.
the purpose for hunting is to keep animals from overpopulating .. that is why there is a certain amount you may kill when hunting season comes. 
But would you like seeing bears (hypothetically speaking) in your backyard because there is not enough space in the woods? i don't thing that would be safe :)

With the cost of every thing going up these days I dont see a thing wrong with puting 200lbs. of meet on the tabel for 35 cents. Its a great help at the end of the week when i have to pay that inflated price to fill up my gastank.

I think hunting should be used only for food and other materials. A small bit of sport in hunting is alright, but excessive hunting for mere enjoyment is wrong.

Well i think mash has a very good point also. My granpa got a deer last year and we have been eating deer steaks for quite a while and as much as we got out of the deer would be about $100 worth of beef or pork. See i live in ohio where the deer and wild game population is over whelming. The state has encouraged people to hunt other wise the animals will be killed by traffic. Think of it this way, most people don't hunt for the he** of it, it is an inexpensive way to provide food for a family! 

I dont understand how someone can be against hunting, like mash put together well, hunting is a good way to put food on the table. I see nothing wrong with going to the lease during hunting season especially down here in the south. I now down here it is a great way to put food on the table. I mean come on, our founding fathers had to hunt in order to survive. Who knows, maybe next yall will be saying that fishing is bad and that it lowers the population of fish. lol

If your going to eat the thing you just killed, then i spose thats not too bad. If your just going to mount its head on a wall, then that cant be a good thing.

My name is Gavin, and i am a hunter and fisherman. 1 month ago, i was shot w/ a shotgun, 12 gage. 30 pellets went into my chest and wrist.  60 other pellets filleted my chest and shoulder. hunting is fun, but be careful. take my lesson, and always use safety, no matter wat. please dont make the same mistake i  did.
